Jennifer Goldbronn joined the UC Davis Human Lactation Center in the Fall of 2007 after working as a Dietitian and Nutrition Education Coordinator at a WIC agency for 3 ½ years. While at WIC Jennifer conducted high risk nutrition counseling, developed and trained agency staff on multiple nutrition and breastfeeding classes and completed her certification as a Lactation Educator. Prior to working at WIC, Jennifer worked in both renal and clinical nutrition. She completed her Dietetic Internship at Napa State Hospital and graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a BS in Dietetics in 2000. Jennifer received her Master ’s Degree in Maternal and Child Nutrition from UC Davis in 2011.

Jennifer serves as the "WIC expert" at the Human Lactation Center. She was heavily involved with training and curriculum development for the Fit WIC Baby Behavior Study. At present she is interested in research related to breastfeeding, risk factors for childhood obesity, assessment of breastfeeding peer counseling programs and the development of feeding and parenting patterns among infants and toddlers. She is a co-founder and regular contributor to Secrets of Baby Behavior.
