Kindred Welcomes Myrna Martin to International Advisory Board

March 25, 2013 – Kindred is honored to welcome Myrna Martin, MN, RCC, RCST, to our International Advisory Board.

Myrna is one of the world’s most belovedteachers in the emerging field of pre- and perinatal psychology. She wrote the ground-breaking chronicle of the history and current science behind pre- and perinatal psychology with Kate White for Kindred in 2012 that was later featured in Pathways to Family Wellness magazine.

The four part series of pre- and perinatal insights and teachings by Myrna are also featured on Kindred, see below, and were produced by Lisa Reagan, Kindred’s editor. Myrna and Lisa will be sitting down for a Fireside Chat in June 2013, so check back for their audio download.

Myrna has 40 years of experience working as director of Nelson and Area Mental Health Services, therapeutically as a nurse, family therapist and craniosacral therapist. Her private practice focuses on early trauma resolution with babies, children and their families as well as adults. She teaches workshops and seminars around the world. Myrna is director of the Kutenai Institute of Integral Therapies which offers pre- and perinatal professional training, somatic trauma resolution and biodynamic craniosacral therapy. These trainings provide professional education for a broad range of people working with pregnant couples and families with children in the early years as well as adults.
