“Understanding the Works of Joseph Chilton Pearce” with Michael Mendizza

Michael Mendizza talks with Lisa Reagan about the significance of the works of Joseph Chilton Pearce.  Mendizza is compiling Joe’s works and biography into an anthology.  He also wrote Magical Parent, Magical Child: The Joyful Art of Parenting with Joe.  Michael gives the listener an overview of Joe’s works and how they examined one central issue in human development: Our Amazing Capacities and Self-Limiting Beliefs.

Mendizza helps listeners to understand key concepts in Joe’s work like the model imperative and the bio-cultural conflict.  Why is parenting from a place of joy not only possible, but our natural birthright?  How do parents rise above cultural conditioning and fearful beliefs?  What does it mean to parent consciously and to make “conscious” choices?

Visit Michael at his nonprofit website, Touch the Future, for a 30 year collection of Joe’s works, including essays, video and audio recordings.
